A major in Politics and Society gives you the opportunity to study a wide range of interesting subjects while preparing for meaningful employment or a master's degree at another internationally recognized university.
Students, working with highly qualified faculty in small, interactive classes, examine ideas and issues across the fields of politics, sociology, history, psychology and literature. By exploring change in modern Europe from the perspective of different academic disciplines, students develop the flexibility to work successfully in Europe's expanding social and political environment.
3-year B.A. degree option
The Politics B.A. degree requires 90 credits and may be completed by full-time students in three years. Graduates will receive the official Czech title of 'Bakalár(' (Bc.).
4-year B.A. degree option
Students who desire a four-year (120 credit) degree may choose to complete a minor program (30 credits) in addition to their major program (90 credits). Students in the Politics and Society or the Humanities, Culture and Society program may complete minors in: Journalism and Communications, European Studies, Legal Studies, International Business Law, or Business. AAC also offers the possibility of earning an American bachelor's degree through our 3+1 programs, where a fourth year of study is completed at our partner university in the United States.

Admission Requirements:
1. Leaving certificate from secondary school (FSE/Plus 1/Plus 2/Inter/GED High School)
2. Good knowledge of English
3. 2 Letters of Motivation
4. Essay on Personal Objectives and Interests (max. 500 words)
ADMISSION CONDITIONS
Applicants must submit:
● The FEG / AAC Application Form
● 2 Passport size photo’s
● Photocopy of passport
● An English translation of secondary school transcript and a copy of the transcript in the original language
● Proof of proficiency in the English language (TOEFL)
● 2 Letters of Motivation
● Essay on Personal Objectives and Interests (max. 500 words)
Please note: There are additional documents to be handed in for the visa procedure. Ask your local agent.
