This program provides, through the perspective of the humanities, an interdisciplinary knowledge and understanding of European, particularly Central European and Czech society and culture, within an integrating Europe in the age of globalisation. Courses in history, psychology, politics, law, economic thought, and sociology provide a general foundation for the understanding of humanities and culture today. Students will be prepared to adapt, communicate, work and succeed in a multinational and multicultural society. The program pays special attention to the idea of peaceful coexistence and encourages positive and tolerant approaches, considering this aspect to be an important component of the interdisciplinary profile of our students.

This program presents a unique opportunity to students who are looking for an education that would qualify them for jobs in cultural, educational, humanitarian and communications-oriented international and national institutions, in governmental agencies and NGO's and media, in various programs of cultural diplomacy, cultural management, cultural reporting and many others. AAC students already have internships or permanent positions in places like UNICEF, UNHCR, the Institute of International Relations, Parliament of the Czech Republic, cultural reporting for Czech media, Czech diplomatic missions abroad and foreign diplomatic missions in Prague, Prague Castle Administration and many others.
