There are seven major components in our program: theory of international relations, international economy, conflict studies, international law, diplomatic history, area studies and diplomacy. There is also an important practical training component to the program, essential for this much-needed area of study.
 
The required courses in the program include: Contemporary Theories in International Relations, Theories of Globalisation, International Trade, Conflict Studies, International Negotiation, International Political Economy, International Law, History of Diplomacy and International Relations, Diplomatic Protocol and Intercultural Communication, International Development, and International Finance.
 
The elective courses in the program include advanced topics in Political Geography, West European Politics and Society, Central and Eastern European issues, The Balkans: Society and Politics in Past and Present, Russia and Post-Soviet Politics, U.S. Foreign Policy, NATO—U.S. & European Relations, Contemporary Issues in the Americas, Middle Eastern Politics, Politics of South, South-East and East Asia, Politics of Sub-Saharan Africa, National and International Security, Ethnic Conflicts and International Terrorism, Arms Control, International Organizations in Theory and Practice,
Environmental Diplomacy, Role of Diplomatic Missions, Internet and Diplomacy, and others.

ADMISSION CONDITIONS
 
Applicants must submit:
      The FEG / AAC Application Form
      2 Passport size photo’s
      Photocopy of passport
      An attested English translation of a Bachelors degree and a copy of the degree in the original language
      Proof of proficiency in the English language (TOEFL)
      2 Letters of Motivation
      Essay on Professional Objectives and Interests (max. 500 words)
