Since the establishment of Pécs University Medical School, many of its graduates have gained international recognition through the Medical School's co-operation with institutions all over the world. The international program at the university started as early as in 1984 with 36 students originating from a dozen of countries. The international student mix showed always a great diversity, although in recent years the Scandinavian and Israeli students formed a majority between the newcomers.

The program leading to the Doctor of Medicine degree, consist of six years: two years of general medical studies, three years of clinical studies and one year of a rotating internship.

The applicants to the program must pass an examination in Biology, Chemistry and English. The university practices a rolling admission policy. Entrance examinations are arranged at several locations in Europe, Israel, North America, Asia and Africa. For further details contact the representative of International Studies in your country.

ADMISSION CONDITIONS
 
Applicants must submit:
 
●      The FE / CI Application Form
●      Four passport size photographs
●      Photocopy of passport or ID card
●      An English translation of high school transcript and a copy of the transcript in the original language
