Wittenborg offers you the chance to follow an all-in preparation course, that not only fully prepares students for further studies at higher education institutions in Europe, but also provides high quality English language education that guarantees students a better chance at securing a place at any European University. The Wittenborg´s Preparation Course in English will assist you in gaining a place at a chosen University, whether this is far away, or locally. When you successfully pass the Wittenborg’s English language preparation year, you will automatically be admitted to its IBA and MBA programmes based on your previous study background.
Students can join for either 1 or 2 terms, and the programme allows students to stream in at each of the 6 blocks. Students are placed in classes according to ability, and this will be done after an intake exam.
Wittenborg English Language School
The Wittenborg Language School provides English language courses to all sorts of different groups. Courses are standard, or made to measure, and can lead to a number of exams and qualifications such as IELTS (www.ielts.org) or TOEFL, as well as certificates such as the Cambridge First Certificate of English, and the various Pitman English exams.
University Preparation Program
The language school provides the basis for the Wittenborg`s Foundation and Preparation Year programme that assists and places students into academic and professional further and higher education courses of their choice. Subjects taught at GED level are Maths and Economics.
English for Business and Travel
This programme is designed for business people who need to improve their communication skills in English Language in the context of International Business. Students may study up to 4 weeks. The programme is ideal for university students on vacation and anyone whose work requires improved ability in spoken English and modern business communication.
Preparation year with Intensive English for IELTS
Program Dates:
September; October; December; February; April; May;
Program Duration: 1 year full time
Admission Requirements:
Four (4) or Five (5) year Bachelor course (First year is pre-university course) and One year Preparation course,
· Leaving certificate for secondary school at least 12 years education
One (1) year English language courses, IELTS preparation course
· Leaving certificate for secondary school at least 10 years education
English language requirement:
· English language courses, IELTS preperation course: Can show
you have attained a working level of the English Language
(equal to IELTS 3 or 4) (You can do a test at the Kathmandu facility)
· University Preparation Course: IELTS 5
· Bachelor program: IELTS 6
If the English level is not sufficient (below IELTS level 3) the student can enrol in the language program, where mainly English will be taught to acquire the right level of English.

ADMISSION CONDITIONS
Applicants must submit:
● The FE / WIK Application Form
● Photocopy of passport or ID card
● An English translation of the High School diploma and a copy of
the transcript in the original language
Please note: There are additional documents to be handed in for the visa procedure for the exchange and final year abroad.

· 50 euro non-refundable application fee
· tuition fee for the applied period of study

· free access to the internet at the university
Please note: study time at other Wittenborg campuses have to be paid according to the local fee structure at the other campus!
Payment scheme 1 year courses:
The fee can be paid in two semester payments, than you pay 2 x 925 euro (1,850 euro total). Non-Nepaleses students have to pay in one payment.
If you want to pay quarterly you pay 4 x 475 euro (1,900 euro total).
